Outstanding Trial Lawyers
Since 2006, the year the firm was founded, the firm’s attorneys have conducted 41 trials, of which 37 were jury trials and four were bench trials. Of these, six were tried in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, 34 were tried in Colorado state district courts, and one was tried in district court in Idaho. Of the 37 jury trials, the jury reached a verdict in 34 cases; in the remaining two cases, the jury could not reach a verdict in one case (hung jury), and in the other the case settled just before the jury reached a verdict. Out of the 38 cases in which the jury or court rendered a verdict or decision, the firm achieved a defense verdict or favorable verdict (FV) in 30 out of the 39 cases. In four of the cases, the verdict or decision was mixed (MV), i.e., the result was favorable in part. In only five out of the 39 cases was the verdict unfavorable (UFV); however, in two of these, the court either granted a new trial or reversed on appeal, negating the unfavorable verdicts. The following is a table showing the types of cases the firm took to trial and the outcome, where a decision was reached. Currently, the firm has achieved a favorable verdict in 12 consecutive cases, extending back to July of 2014.
