Kira. N. Adams joined Giometti & Mereness, P.C. in the spring of 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Adams worked assisting defense counsel on the retail side of the multi-district opioid litigation and worked in the legal department at the Denver office of the United States Postal Service assessing worker’s compensation claims.
Prior to moving to Denver, Mrs. Adams worked as an associate attorney at Brand & Tapply, LLC, a small insurance defense firm in Wellesley, MA, assessing automobile and homeowner claims in a pre-litigation investigation role and as litigation counsel in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Mrs. Adams is a graduate of Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in business administration: marketing & sports management and minor in Political and Governmental Affairs; and obtained her J.D. from New England Law|Boston, graduating cum laude. While at New England Law, Mrs. Adams was an editor for the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement and received a certified concentration in Intellectual Property Law, including CALI awards for the top exam grades in Intellectual Property Law and Copyright Law. While attending law school, Mrs. Adams served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Bonnie H. MacLeod at the Suffolk County Superior Court in Boston, MA.
Outside of work, Mrs. Adams enjoys travelling, especially road-tripping around Colorado and visiting family on the east and west coasts. She also enjoys book clubs, volunteering at various sporting events, including the Rocky Mountain State Games, and trying out new restaurants with her husband, Chris.
